The internet is full of diversions and social media is now the biggest distraction, taking up more of our time on the internet than anything else apparently. The list of popular social networks is still growing and many people are spending literally hours of their day checking through their various accounts.
To make matters worse, like this lady, we now have multitude of screens: smartphones, tablets, as well as laptops and desktop. Most of us are nearly always within an arm’s reach of checking our multitude of networks. It’s hard to balance keeping up with getting stuff done.
Most of us probably say to ourselves fairly often, “I’ll check Facebook and Twitter, then I’ll quickly open Pinterest for a quick browse, and then check emails, and then I’ll get on with my day; it won’t take long!”? But, how often do you get to 5 o’clock and realize you haven’t achieved everything you’ve needed or wanted to, simply because you’ve gone to check your emails and Facebook too many times?
